A Chat with Mrs. Chrisman...
This week students wrapped up their time with our Artist in Residency. Each student made a clay pot and wrote a creative piece about having a good mind. The pots will be fired in the kiln and sent home in the next couple of weeks. Thank you to the Student Experience Committee for providing our students will this unique opportunity. Our students celebrated Valentine's Day on Friday. Students were allowed to wear their pajamas to school. Several students handed out Valentines to their friends. Mrs. Akkala and I even received a lot of Valentines in the office! What a treat!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Stay warm!!!

Artist in ResidencyThank you to our Student Experience Committee and parent groups for providing our students with a unique opportunity of having Jennifer Stevens at our school for the past two weeks. Jennifer taught the students a bit about her Oneida heritage. She also focused on fine arts and visual arts. The students did some creative writing and then got to make a clay pinch pot. The students also took part in a share time. They were all very proud of their work! Everyone did a great job!!
