A Chat with Mrs. Chrisman...
This week has been a great week! Teachers are continuing to get their beginning of the year assessments done. It is important to get a starting point for each child in order to meet the needs of our students and set yearly goals. Our walk-a-thon was a great event!! The weather was beautiful and the kids really did a great job! Thank you to all of the parents who joined us for the walk, gave a pledge, or helped in any way!!!!

Volunteer News for Alliance Parents
On Tuesday, September 30th, at 6:30 p.m., Alliance will hold a volunteer orientation meeting in Mrs. Connor’s classroom. This meeting is for parents who have not attended an Alliance volunteer orientation before and who are interested in volunteering in the classroom this year. The short presentation will cover the variety of volunteer opportunities as well as what to expect as a parent volunteer in the Montessori classroom. Important: Parents who plan to volunteer in the classroom or attend field trips must fill out a background check form and sign a volunteer contract each year. For parents who have attended an orientation in the past, you can pick up a copy of the volunteer contract and a background check form outside the school office or download the forms from the school's "News and Information" web page: http://www.neenah.k12.wi.us/schools/alliance/alliance_news.cfm. (Scroll down to ACE Documents on the lower right-hand side of the screen.) If you have any questions about the volunteer orientation, please contact Joanna Morey ([email protected] or 751.8436). Alliance classrooms benefit from our parent volunteers, and we look forward to seeing many new volunteers on Tuesday, September 30! |
