A Chat with Mrs. Chrisman...
This week Roosevelt had it's annual Soupster. Thank you to all of the families who supported this event. Thank you, also, to the volunteers who helped make the event a success! Your time and dedication is greatly appreciated. Some of our students walked to Shattuck Park on Tuesday for a Veteran's Day celebration. It was great to have our students be part of an important event. Our Girls on the Run program concluded this week. They ended the program by having a bake sale to raise funds for the Fox Valley Humane Society. Thank you to everyone who bought treats on Thursday! Our third graders were met by the Lions Club this week for The Dictionary Project. Every third grader received a brand new dictionary. This is a great tradition in the Neenah area!! As the weather begins to get colder and colder, please help to make sure that your child is dressed appropriately. If your family is in need of assistance with this, please let me know. I do have resources available for families who need a helping hand. I hope everyone has a great weekend! My family will be busy packing boxes! Our move to Neenah is getting closer!

November's Virtue of the Month is: MODERATION We will be practicing keeping balance in our lives. We have been talking about balancing work and play. Students need to make sure that they have a balance between their job as a student and the amount of time they have to play. The cold weather is here!
