A Chat with Mrs. Chrisman...
Our week started on Sunday with our Spring Spruce Up! Thank you to all of the families who came out to help! We had a few field trips this week. Some students went to Heritage Hill, some went to Bubolz, some went to The Octagon House. It's great when students can experience real-life learning! The Talent Show rehearsals are finished! I can't wait to see the show! Next week we have our 4th and 5th grade Bike Hike. Thank you to all of the parents who offered to volunteer for this great event! Our last few weeks sure will be busy! Thank you for your continued support!!!

On May 7, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. With both of my children attending Roosevelt, I wanted to put something in the newsletter so that if your child comes home that they heard this from one of my children, you know it is true. Surgery is scheduled prior to the end of the school year, and Mrs. Senso will be my sub. For those of you who have older children, you'll remember she was the Library Media Specialist at RO/ACE right up until she retired in 2010. My hope/goal is to be back to school as quickly as possible next fall. Please keep my family in your thoughts. I'm very open about the process, so if you have questions, you are welcome to ask. SHAKE IT OFF..........
