A Chat with Mrs. Chrisman...
It has been a cold week at Roosevelt-Alliance. We have had to keep a close eye on the outside temperature. Please remember that if the temperature with wind chill is zero degrees or above, the students will go outside for recess. Please make sure your child has warm gear for the cold winter. Next week's temperatures are looking better! Please note that we only have school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Dismissal on Wednesday is at 11:30 because it is a Professional Learning Day for staff. As we head into the Thanksgiving week, I am thankful for the opportunity to be part of the Roosevelt-Alliance family. Having this job is an honor for me. I am thankful for the wonderful staff members who I am fortunate to work with. I am thankful for the students at Roosevelt-Alliance. They truly are part of my "family" and I love seeing their smiling faces each day. I am thankful for the families who have welcomed me and who have been helpful in this transition. Finally, I am thankful for my family who has stood by me through this whole transition and who has supported my career move. I am excited to report that we close on our new home next Wednesday and plan on moving next weekend!! We are so excited!!!! I wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving!

November's Virtue of the Month is: MODERATION We will be practicing keeping balance in our lives. We have been talking about balancing work and play. Students need to make sure that they have a balance between their job as a student and the amount of time they have to play. The cold weather is here! Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the cold temperatures. If your family is in need of assistance, please contact Mrs. Chrisman.
