After listening to the Katie Speck book Maybelle in the Soup, first grade students used iPads and QR codes to do research on REAL cockroaches. They learned some pretty interesting (and even disgusting) facts about these creepy creatures. Students drew their own Maybelles and "animated" them using the app ChatterKid. We hope you enjoy our video and learn something, too! To see our video, click here.
